Croatia’s New Dog Bar

Just like humans – dogs love (and need) to socialize!  Whether it is one-on-one or in a pack, socializing is not only fun for dogs, but it also reinforces training and develops problem solving skills.  Many metropolitan cities worldwide have embraced dog socialization with dog parks, dog-friendly patios and best of all, dog bars!  Chicago and Denver both have Dog Happy Hour Facebook groups that plan large monthly gatherings.  However, the Croatian town Crikvenica has taken things a step further by combining the dog bar with a favorite canine pastime – beach time!

Monty’s Dog Beach & Bar is a place for dog owners to gather with their pups to enjoy nature and mingle.  With a balanced menu of beers, snacks and ice creams in both canine and human varieties, it’s a true dog bar complete with a beautiful beach for romping, digging and swimming.
